Privacy notice

What we collect through this website, why, and how long we keep it.

Who we are

The Planet Accounting Co Ltd ("we", "us") is a bookkeeping and tax practice at The Old School, 188 Liscard Road, Ground Floor, Wallasey CH44 5TN. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact vincent@tpacc.uk or 07903 793886.

What we collect and why

Enquiry, quote and client forms. Your name, phone number, email address, business name and the answers you give about your business (type, turnover band, VAT status, whether you are up to date with HMRC, services needed, best time to call). We use this to suggest a package, give you a guide price and contact you about your enquiry. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

WhatsApp and phone. If you contact us by WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes your message under its own privacy policy. We keep the conversation to deal with your enquiry.

Advertising and analytics. We may use the Meta Pixel and Google tags to measure whether our adverts work and to show adverts to people who have visited this site. These set cookies. You can opt out through your browser settings, Meta ad preferences and Google ad settings.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are emailed to us from our own web server. If you book a call through a booking link, the booking provider acts as a processor on our instructions. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients: deleted within 12 months of last contact. Client records: kept for the period required by HMRC and our anti-money-laundering obligations, normally 5 years after the engagement ends.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent for marketing. Email vincent@tpacc.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We limit what we collect to what is needed for your enquiry.
